WINTER AT GRIDLEY HOLLOW HONEY CO.

Winter is a wonderful time to kick back and relax a little with a warm cup of your favorite tea, sweetened with Gridley Hollow summer wildflower honey. We are experiencing one of the coldest, snowiest winters we have had in many years. It reminds me of the first winters we lived here in the early 1980’s .

Our bees are cozy buried in the snow, which helps to insulate them from the frigid temperatures. The daylight is getting longer and they are starting to raise new bees , in anticipation of the approaching spring season .
