Fall colors have arrived here in Virgil New York, along with some delicious fall wildflower honey. The trees are gorgeous this year. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler. This is a great time of year to do a little sightseeing, pick up some honey from our farm stand and visit Hollenbeck’s Cider Mill for some fresh squeezed apple cider and warm donuts. The swap shop is happening at Greek Peak next weekend with all sorts of fun activities.
This year we have goldenrod/aster honey and a good crop of bamboo ( Japanese knotweed) honey, as well as summer wildflower honey. We also have a limited supply of yummy comb honey.
