NEW CROP SUMMER WILDFLOWER

WOW! It seems like our spring and summer are just flying by! We are harvesting out new crop of summer wildflower honey. The harvest will be substantially  less that last year due to the heat and dryness of the weather, but it still is a blessing. The flavor is wonderful. A bit different than last summer, but very yummy. The floral source is predominately staghorn sumac and starthistle (spotted knapweed) with other wildflowers mixed in.

Have a great August!
