Summer finally came this week with some 80 degree and sunny weather. Its been one of the rainyist springs that I can remember. Our bees are building up well and starting to make some wildflower honey. The staghorn sumac is starting to bloom. Legumes like birdsfoot trefoil are blooming as well as white, red and sweet clovers. The basswood/linden trees are loaded with buds. This wonderful nectar producing tree usually blooms from the 10th to the 20th of July. Hopefully our bees will have good weather and foraging conditions to make a bumper crop. I am thankful to live in the USA. The land of the free and the home of the brave! Have a wonderful Independence Day celebration!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
